Never underestimate the importance of having a strong logo. You may think it’s not an essential part of your business strategy, but if it didn’t make a huge difference then why would the world’s biggest companies spend so much money on them? Creating logos is an integral part of our business – it’s something our world class designers do on a daily basis.
We believe every business should have its own logo, so we’re used to working within most budgets. To design the logo that’s just right for you, we need to understand your business and what message you want to get across to your existing and potential customers. We also want to know what works for you, for example – the colours you do or don’t like, which styles you find attractive, and so on. You mustn’t be offended if we don’t necessarily agree with your ideas, we’ll try to take them on board, but remember, we’re looking at what your customers will respond to rather than what suits your personal taste. Just how many examples we create and how many variations you get will depend upon your budget. We work quickly, and we’re quite happy to spend as much time on this as you want to pay us for. However, if your purse is limited, we’ll endeavour to come up with something that’s perfect for you at a cost you’re comfortable with.
This is largely dependent on you. Having had an initial briefing, we will usually come up with two or three diverse examples and then brainstorm it. You might want a colour tweaking or a curve moving up and to the left… the possibilities are endless, but please don’t feel you have to make changes for the sake of them. We are happy to develop your logo to the nth degree if your budget will allow and, if nothing particularly inspires you, then we will occasionally have to go back to the drawing board.
If you’re especially attached to your existing logo, it’s possible it could be revived – given a shot in the arm to bring it into the 21st century and reflect exactly what your company is all about now rather than what you were doing then. You may be surprised what a full make-over can do for your logo’s image and it obviously won’t cost you as much as a full redesign from scratch. We’ll tell you straight away whether we think we can work with what you’ve got, or whether you need to bin it and start again.
