Passionate about your business

You know that advertising works, or a whole industry wouldn’t be able to survive off its revenues. But how do you make your advert one of the special ones that gets right to the heart of your audience, then gets remembered and talked about? Most importantly, how do you get it to generate business?

There’s no real mystery to it - you just need to have a thorough understanding of how the game works, have a real grasp on identifying your target market and then design a professional advert with all the artistic and literary skills to make it a surefire winner.

Piece of cake, eh? Alternatively, you could leave it to us and avoid taking costly chances. Advertising in any medium these days costs a small fortune, so you really do have to make every penny count. Our skilled team of marketing professionals, world class designers and copy writers will create the perfect solution for you. It might be a single ad or a whole, carefully orchestrated and managed campaign across a multimedia platform. It might be that you just want an ad for your local paper, or a new design for this year’s Yellow Pages. You see, after more than twenty years in the business we know a thing or two about successful advertising. And let’s face it - if it doesn’t bring in the extra spondoolies, there’s really not much point.

Send us a brief Successful advert designs

1. The basics - Ok, it might sound a ridiculous thing to say, but you need to be clear about what you’re going to advertise and to whom. Many business owners decide they need to place an ad in order to increase business, but they fail to answer these two critical questions.

2. Conceptualisation - We love that word! Because it’s so important. A successful ad campaign needs thoroughly story-boarding - we start with a brainstorming session and then sketch out our ideas on an old fashioned drawing pad with an old fashioned pencil. Quaint, eh?

3. The imagery - It’s a cliche, we know, but a powerful image gives an immediate message. It has to illustrate the story of the ad and be of exceptional quality.

4. The words - Beautifully written copy is the poetry of advertising. It should make your points clearly, concisely and memorably. Read it through again and remove all the words that aren’t necessary - careful editing can mean the difference between success and failure.

5. The space - Some people think that if they’re paying for the space, they may as well use every last millimetre of it. Think again - the right amount of space gives your message room to breathe, bringing the ad to life.

6. The call to action - This bit is vital. We call it ‘the bee-catcher’ and, quite simply, it should draw your audience in to respond to the advert. People tend to do what they’re told, which is why cleverly designed advertising has ‘em flocking with fistfuls of readies.

7. Don't forget the contact details - They’re important, but they must only go at the end of the ad. Once people want to buy your product or service, they’ll look for where and how to get hold of you. Don’t waste headline or body copy space with your name and phone number.

8. The following instalments - An ad campaign must be planned in its entirety from start to finish. Each advert should run in sequence, like the next episode of your favourite TV show. That way, the people who aren’t ready to buy when they see your first ad will be completely hooked by the end.

We’ll have your customers buzzing like bees to a honey pot.
